Massimo yesterday morning and I have done a course base of Japanese cuisine (which I adore) and these are the results!
I did not make shots to nigiri because it's hard to do and we were busy with them ... for those it takes months of practice!
We learned how to make tempura (though the batter which I must tell you that Max is probably best) and its sauce, sushi, and uramaki (or California maki) which is my favorite, the classic Hosomaki (the one with the 'seaweed outside for instance) and the' cone ', the temaki and then the chicken teriyaki, exquisite.
Obviously being a basic course we started from cooking rice, etc..
The reason we did is simple, we love to cook both of them, Max is certainly more talented than me and has more dexterity, yesterday I've flown a slice of sea bass from the cutting board on my havaianas, then no end of laughter, but of course I also have Bravin:)
We like to try a bit 'of everything, of course Italian cuisine is the best in the world but I also love oriental cuisine, Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese note. And they were
years I wanted to learn to make sushi and have involved the husband!
